In the western world, people are spending most of their waking hours amidst artificial light . We work in office settings amidst artificial fluorescent lighting while staring all day at devices that emit blue light. We then go home to watch television, read emails or continue to work from our devices, leading to more blue light exposure. Blue light is a wavelength we need but nowhere near the amount we are all generously granting to ourselves.

The problem is that the many LEDs (blue light emitting diodes) disrupt our circadian rhythms or our biological clocks. What Is Red Light Therapy

Red light therapy or photobiomodulation involves exposing cells or tissue to low levels of red and near infrared (NIR) light.
