Dr. Elena Villanueva On The Secret To Healing
I want to welcome Dr. Elena Villanueva, Dr. V, as she’s well-known. It has been such a powerful force of knowledge and wellness information to hundreds of millions of people that she’s touched over the years. I want to welcome you, Dr. V, to the show.
Thank you, Dr. Jack. It’s so good to see you.
We, in society, are suffering from so many different things. It has been such a traumatic couple of years. I want to be able to dive in with our people to help them out as we get through the trauma of the past couple of years, and then also we will dive into childhood trauma. I brought you on as an expert. You are a well-known international speaker and health influencer. You have written books, done courses, been on all over mainstream media, and helped so many people.
You interviewed me with Dr. Ryan when you guys did The Leaky Brain Summit. That was a fantastic leaky brain. Most people do know about leaky gut and how it extends certainly as I talk about leaky hearts, and then leaky brain where all your cells and tissues start to leak. If you would, take us into some of the stuff of how you’ve got interested in these emotional issues of people and how they pertain and lead to adult illness.
Let me back up a little bit and let the audience know what work it is that I’m doing. The work that I do is working with chronic disease, chronic illness. That includes things like autoimmune disease, which there are so many. There’s every autoimmune disease under the sun. We’ve got neurodegenerative diseases. We have a lot of mental health disorders. All that chronic stuff that we are taught in the traditional medical field, that there is no cure and we can manage it with medications, all of those things are the things that I love to work with and teaching other practitioners how to work with because the reality is that, pretty much all that is reversible.
People are not broken and they can heal. I don’t care what anyone says about Parkinson’s. You can reverse Parkinson’s. How do I know? It’s because I have been doing it. I have case studies. We have a gentleman out of Mexico City. His daughter is a physician. She came to us to work with her father and his Parkinson’s issues. He has been working with us and his symptoms are almost completely gone. He started at 8s, 9s, 10s on his symptom sheet, with 10 being the worst. He’s down to 0s, 1s, 2s, and 3s after a few months. This is typical of what we see.
The cases that we see are the ones that everybody thinks can’t be cured and that’s the stuff that we are working with. Over the years that I have been doing this work, I always realized that there was a mindset or emotional component to healing. We all know that but the depth to which we understand and resonate with that is what has been missing. I have been able to see this through the years.
Ever since I started my practice, I have incorporated mindset and neurological repatterning and trauma work because I knew that had a big impact. That can be just as big of a cause for chronic disease and illness as heavy metals or chemical toxins. People were not aware of that but what’s taken us into a much deeper dive into this type of trauma work, emotional release work, and neurological repatterning work is the data that I have collected over the years, showing the results that we are getting with people when we add that component in versus when we don’t.
As we have taken a deeper dive into doing this work on a much deeper level, we are starting to see people healing faster than we saw in the past. That’s how I’ve even got into that component of work. I have always understood that as something that needed to be addressed if you are working with the whole person, mind, body and spirit. It’s overtime and collecting data that we have been able to see that warrants a much deeper dive into that type of work to see overall results in healing.
There is a mindset or emotional component to healing.
My interest is certainly similar to yours in a lot of ways. My father was diagnosed in his mid-50s with Parkinsonism. I was very early in my holistic career after meeting my wife, who would convert me into a holistic practitioner after the Mayo Clinic said they had no idea why my father was suffering from Parkinsonism. Eventually, they gave the label of progressive supranuclear palsy, which is similar to Parkinson’s.
There’s no treatment. They said he would be dead within three years and there was no cause for it, and then I met this young doctor of chiropractic. She tells me all of the causes of why my father is sick and dying. It’s all those different causes that we looked at like, “Your father eats poorly. He drinks too much alcohol. He’s a Chicago-based cardiologist so he’s not sleeping and not getting sunshine. He’s around all these chemicals and including radiation.” I never had a grasp of the mental trauma that would have led to his illness as well.
It was only years later when it started again to dawn on me that there were things in his childhood that influenced his PSP or Parkinsonism later on. It also came to light a couple of years ago since he has passed back in 2007 of a significant adult trauma or certainly an emotional challenge, where my father had a child with another woman outside of his conventional marriage. He never had any relationship with that child. I do not doubt that my father loved his children. I would certainly describe him as a family man and to know that he had another child out there that he was not in communication with must have destroyed his health. What do you think about that?
When we are talking about trauabout ma, let’s make sure that we are congruent with what the definition is. It’s not the event itself. It was his perception of the event. It was the perception of what had happened and what transpired through his life that created the trauma or the changes in his biology, physiology, and even in his genetic expression. It sounds too that there could have been a lot of conflicts. He wants to have a relationship with his son but he’s living this life and because of what he believes to be X, Y, Z situation, he never had that. He lived his entire life in conflict.
Things like that can cause disastrous effects on the body. It’s very understandable that if he had a son and he never had a relationship with that son, he could have had a lot of things going on with the stories that he created in his mind about what happened that could have created a lot of illness and disease in his body.
Can you give us some insight without getting too science-y? How does that emotional experience and events that surround that impact the physical? How can that lead to blood pressure issues, heart rhythm issues, autoimmune issues, psychological, neurological issues or cancer?
Emotions and thoughts can have a lot of control over our physiology. For example, when you have an emotion of fear or something that’s happening to you, where you feel threatened, what happens? The emotion comes, either through something that you see. It’s coming from your external environment. It can come from the internal environment.
It can come from your thoughts too but let’s just say that it’s coming from an external environment. You are seeing, hearing, smelling or feeling something that’s threatening. It goes up into your brain and your brain goes, “Danger.” It signals the danger part of your brain, which is the amygdala. It’s like the little Chihuahua watchdog so the alarms go off. As soon as the alarms go off, the whole body gets ready for battle.
The blood vessels constrict or go up. Everything starts to change. Cortisol starts pumping. All of these different things start happening in your body. You start breathing fast and shallow. That is a perfect example of how any motion causes biological and physiological changes in your body. All emotions can do that. Happy emotions like when you are holding your baby, snuggling with all your babies and they are saying, “Daddy, I love you so much. This is the best movie ever. This popcorn is so good.” You are feeling good. You can smell your children and they are laying all over you. You are in this cuddle puddle on the floor with all the blankets with your babies and you feel good. You have that emotion of safety, peace, and love for those babies.

It triggers different parts of your brain to trigger different thoughts. That emotion triggers different thoughts, and then those thoughts in your brain trigger emotions or other hormones like oxytocin, melatonin, and all of the relaxation types of hormones in your body. When you are experiencing certain types of emotions, it causes biological changes.
If you never allow yourself to process the emotion fully, the emotions stay trapped inside of your body causing long-term damage because your body, for example, stays in a state of fight or flight with all of these shenanigans that are going on around the world. People have been brainwashed to the point where their neurology has been repatterned and they are stuck in a state of terror. Part of their brain that signals the alarms to go off in the body because there’s danger and threats are constantly on. It never turns off.
It starts to cause a malfunction in the frontal lobe of the brain, which is responsible for telling us if the threat is over or not or rationalizing decisions like being able to look at things critically to decide what’s real and what’s not, what’s dangerous and what’s not. We get stuck in the state of the alarm is going off 24/7. Our mind is racing all the time. That produces all those stress and fear hormones in our body, which over time is corrosive. It causes heart problems, cancer, all these types of disease issues, a decrease in your immune function, changes in your brain chemistry, changes in your sleep hormones, changes in your reproductive hormones, high blood pressure and heart issues.
These stress hormones are running through our body constantly all because of the brainwashing that’s happened to people from watching television and the news 24/7. It’s corrosive to the body so much so that it changes people’s DNA. For the next 6, 7 generations or longer, all of the children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren are very likely going to be born with fear in their body, born anxious, having depression, anxiety, and mind racing from the time that they are babies all because of what’s happened.
People look at the why. They do finally think why they are sick and we often talk about so many of the different whys. Medical doctors don’t talk about the why. They just talk about, “Here’s your Prozac, blood pressure drunk, cholesterol drunk, aspirin and pain pill.” As we talk about the why, we are always peeling back the layers on that.
With the point you made is that what happened to your ancestors and stress, whether it’s emotional, physical, environmental, all of these different toxins, thought toxins or physical toxins impact the genetics, DNA and epigenetics. You weren’t even alive to even see it but that stress that they were under generations ago gets passed on to you and ultimately leads to some of your health issues. Certainly, your standpoint is, “I’ve got a solution to help you deal with it.”
These solutions that we have are fascinating because most people know me as the data-driven holistic doctor. I love using that. That’s how I created all the case studies and was able to figure out how to work with the body using natural approaches that work. It’s because we track it with data to see, “Are we making the changes? How fast are we making the changes?”
When it comes to trauma and unprocessed emotions causing disease, there’s not a test for that. Although, I have figured out how to track metrics to watch how the body improves as we take people through the trauma and emotional healing process. I found a way to track some data. What’s interesting with this is that when people have these issues that need to be dealt with, this is where science meets spirituality.
A lot of people are hearing that like, “Science and spirituality? What does that mean?” Let me explain it to you. In different words, it’s where the Newtonian model of science, which is what we were all born into, what we were taught in school, and what we base all of our reality on, meets the quantum model of science. Quantum is what some people call the spiritual or the woo but it’s science. If any of the readers are going, “That quantum stuff is not real.” Let me tell you what. MRI was based on quantum. The Newtonian model did not figure out the MRI. The MRI is an amazing imaging tool that we can use.
When you’re experiencing certain types of emotions, it causes biological changes.
We are seeing a merging of science and spirituality or rather these two different models of science coming together to be used to help people heal. When we are talking about trauma being passed down through the generations, we can work with an individual to help them break that chain of trauma that may have been passed down 4 or 5, 6, 7 generations. We don’t do it with a drug, surgery or a supplement even.
We are working more on a quantum level, energetic level, on a conscious and subconscious mind, bringing them together to be congruent with one another so that they can resolve some of these issues that have happened generationally. In essence, when we cut the cord on that trauma that has been passed down for generations, how do we know that what we did worked? We can see the physiological changes and improvements in the individual. We are tracking and getting baseline measurements before and then after. We can see the difference.
A good example would be this individual we have been working with who had trouble sleeping and had some other issues, too. We resolved all the other issues. We found environmental chemical toxins and mycotoxins. The guy was eating foods that were causing a lot of inflammation. He was working too hard. He wasn’t moving his body enough. He was working all the time. We addressed all these things in the first year. At the end of the year, we reevaluated and looked at all the labs. We saw massive improvements and everything.
With the symptom sheet, pretty much everything that he had previously was gone, except for the sleep. The sleep had improved somewhat but not totally. We were like, “Let’s dig a little further. What have we not looked at yet? Let’s go into history and do a little bit of work on the unconscious mind, conscious mind, mindset, constructs, belief, systems, all of those things.”
As we took him through that type of work in year two, we discovered that generations ago, one of his uncles or great grandfathers experienced famine and became terrified to go to sleep because he thought he was going to die. How did we find this out? It’s not because we picked up the phone. We found it out doing something called quantum time technique and a resonance repatterning, where we can take the individual and bring their unconscious mind more to the surface, where their conscious and unconscious mind can communicate.
This individual figured it out and said, “This was generations ago. It was my great-grandfather. He thought he was going to die because they were going through famine and they were starving.” It made a lot of sense when he figured that out because he knew that his father and grandfather had had trouble sleeping. He knew he was able to go back a couple of generations.
We took him through the processes of releasing those generational traumas. He is sleeping. Not only is he sleeping, his son, who’s two who was not sleeping either. Even when he was two years old, he was waking up a couple of times through the night, not because he had colic or anything else. He just wouldn’t sleep, he started sleeping.
This is how amazing this type of work is. Do we have all the tests, data, and Newtonian Model science stuff to quantify this so that we know that it’s real and true? We don’t have that yet. It doesn’t mean squat because we can see through the history of human evolution and science that just because we can’t understand doesn’t mean that it’s not true. As new information comes available, what we think of as truth changes. That’s a good example of generational trauma, how you are able to move through it and how it even changes your downline.
For everyone who’s reading, we will be talking with Dr. V about how you can all get more information about the techniques that she’s talking about, some of the tools, tips, and strategies that you use, even how you can work with Dr. V and her team. We will get to that. I do want to circle because that is fascinating certainly and very new to me about what has happened to our ancestors and how that manifests in us. It’s nice to know something that we can do about it.

I first learned about this from Dr. Bruce Lipton, where your body cannot get into a healthy state when it’s constantly under stress and in what you were talking about before the sympathetic overdrive, the fight, flight or freeze response. When you are constantly thinking you are getting chased by a tiger because of worldwide stress, financial stress, emotional stress, whatever it may be, your body is not concerned with repair, relaxation and digestion.
You never start to deal with oxidative stress and inflammation. Your body never has time for the liver to fully repair itself, the kidney to repair itself for cellular cleansing, on top of that, you might have because when you are constantly being chased by a tiger, your body is only concerned about escape. It’s not concerned about the repair.
A lot of people have been stuck in that state of fight or flight. I call that the amygdala hijack. We are doing as much work as we can to educate people around the world on what trauma is, how trauma and unprocessed emotions can make people sick and what solutions are out there. People are not broken. There are answers and solutions. That’s one of our taglines. It’s about getting out there and getting the word out there to educate people that there are things that can be done about it.
Think about what’s happened over the years. I have written about all the different links between anger and cardiovascular disease, stress and cardiovascular disease, depression and cardiovascular disease. One of the things that I found most troubling and something difficult to deal with is this concept of social isolation. It’s linked to cardiovascular disease, cancer, dementia and neurologic disorders. Social isolation is at an all-time high over the last couple of years. What do you think about social isolation and what it’s done to society?
It’s frightening and disheartening to see what has been happening to people who have been bamboozled into believing that they need to be socially isolated. What’s even worse is that they are not seeing how it’s affecting them or not putting 2 and 2 together about how it’s affecting them. Humans are not designed to be alone. There are a lot of things that can be said about the consequences that come from long-term social isolation.
It has been used to torture people. Social isolation has been done. They still do that in some of the high-security prisons. They will isolate people. Something about social isolation that fits more into the quantum field of medicine or science that a lot of people are not aware of is that our energy field expands about 6 feet from us.
We are energy. In the Newtonian Model of science, we don’t teach or talk about that a whole lot but in the quantum model, we do. Even in the Newtonian model, we know that we all resonate at a certain frequency. That’s a fact. What a lot of people don’t know is that our energy field comes from the heart. It comes out, makes a circle, and then comes back. It goes out about 6 feet. Is that interesting that they are telling people to stay 6 feet apart? There’s no science behind staying 6 feet apart so you don’t get a virus, as far as the virus not traveling more than 6 feet.
There is science behind it that our energy field expands 6 feet. We are all connected. It’s hard for people to understand that until they get more into quantum science and start understanding but we are all electrical fields and connect via electricity. When you start separating people and they can’t connect, there’s going to be a big shift in the energy of the planet and it’s going to cause a lot of people to become sicker.
Can you imagine these people who are the matriarch or patriarch of the family? You have lived a long life and you are 85 years old. You are hospitalized and you have pneumonia, dying of cancer or heart failure, kidney failure or whatever it may be. These people that have been surrounded by their entire family for their entire lives are dying alone, dying with strangers, dying alone in nursing homes of this catastrophe of what’s happening. There have been no purpose in doing it. It has only served to further divide, increase anger, depression and all these things. The downstream Seroquel I have worked on allegedly that was told to us was the right thing to do.
People must be willing to heal in order to heal.
It was social distancing, masks, and all these other things that people have done over the last couple of years, the recommendations from the powers to be. It’s served to destroy the health and wellness of so many people. One of the things I love to talk about is that the science that says that people who own pets, specifically dogs, tend to live the longest and the best. Why is that? There are a lot of value to having a dog as a pet. As you pointed out, one of those things too is that the dog has this frequency and infrared energy that is released into us and we are releasing it into the dog.
This whole thing about humans and the connection that has suffered for years is problematic. How do you take people out of this? Let’s hope that we are on the downside of this debacle. The shenanigans and all these things were on the downside of all of this, hopefully. We are going to come out of this into a world. How do we help to recover people from the emotional, stress and trauma?
First of all, we can only help the people that are looking for it. Honestly, some people are so afraid that they are not looking for help. We can’t help those who aren’t looking for it. We certainly can’t change anybody’s mind. A lot of us were screaming at the top of our lungs in 2021 warning people, “The BS meter is going off here. We have the education and we are seeing things that are not congruent.” We are seeing things that we believe to be lies. A lot of people would not hear it. That was frustrating.
We have moved past that so there is a segment of people who are looking for help. Hopefully, they continue researching online and find people like you and me. We have a whole circle of people who are health influencers, doctors, scientists, researchers, and investigative journalists who are out there speaking the truth. We are out there giving people answers, hope and solutions. The best thing that we can do, you, I, and all of us who are speaking our truth, is to continue speaking our truth. If we continue speaking our truth, the people who are looking for us are going to find us.
We do associate ourselves with so many people. We are not going to necessarily appear on all the mainstream media. CNN is not going to be calling another one. At this time, we will be talking about, “How do we get people healthy?” They are only trying to sell fear propaganda and pharmaceuticals trying to sell their advertisers. That’s where that all goes. We always tell people to unplug and not watch that. Most of our readers are not going to be doing that.
Let’s take a moment because I do want to address childhood traumas and I will have you unpack that. There has been a couple of articles in the journal of the American Heart Association in 2020. They published something about childhood trauma is leading to adult-onset cardiovascular disease, a higher risk of heart attacks, stroke and cardiac death. There was cancer, certainly about atrial fibrillation and other heart rhythm disorders as it pertains to childhood trauma. Tell us exactly how would you define childhood trauma. How do we assess that?
There is an assessment for that and it’s called the Adverse Childhood Experiences Test. It’s the ACEs test. There are ten questions on there. You answer each question with a yes or no. You assign one point for each yes answer. They say based on studies that they have done that anything that is a seven or higher is pretty much you are guaranteed to end up with some sort of chronic disease like heart disease, mental health issues, autoimmune issues or cancer. You are pretty much going to have that if the trauma was never unresolved. What we see is that even people with lower ACEs score, 3, 4 or 5, we see that they are still a contributing factor. Let me tell you why. You could have one adverse childhood experience.
We can call that adverse childhood experience, traumatic event or heightened emotional experience. You could have one and it could have been bad like maybe you were out walking with your parents, you saw your mom get run over by a car and she died. Everything else aside from that was good. You could have on the ACEs score one.
What is that going to do to that person? The story that they create, the perception around what they saw happen and the story that they create is going to affect them for the rest of their life, creating trauma after trauma. They are going to keep creating more heightened emotional experiences as a result of the belief systems that they created from that first experience like not being worthy enough or, “My mom left me.”

Feelings of abandonment or unworthiness, things like that. That carries with them so then that creates more adverse experiences, not just throughout the rest of their childhood but through their adulthood. With the one experience, 30 years later, they are packing luggage of 1,000 pounds of experiences that they have never been able to process and so they’ve got heart disease. Getting an opportunity to look at an ACEs score on someone is a good part of an entire assessment that can be done on people to help better understand if unprocessed emotions, traumas, and things like that are one of the many causes of their underlying condition or whatever that may be.
How can people look into themselves and take that inventory of childhood traumas or adolescent traumas? It doesn’t have to be when you are 3, 5, 7. It could be any time in your past. How can people take an inventory of that to assess some of these possible concerns? How do they impact people later on? There are probably self-questionnaires.
I have seen stuff and I will read this off as it pertains to how a lot of these studies are done. How often did a parent or other adult in the household make you feel that you were loved, supported, and cared for, verbal abuse, physical abuse, hugging, kissing, physical gestures of warmth and affection? You can go to all of these things and look at all that. How can someone take an inventory of their past? How should they bring that up to their practitioner?
As far as the inventory part, some people are going to be very aware that they have had a lot of traumas in their lives and feel like they are still being affected by it. They are going to have an awareness around that. Other people are not. Some people will have awareness around some traumas and feel like they have already dealt with it while they will have forgotten others. They forgot it because it was a protective mechanism. Their unconscious mind helped them to block it out and they completely forgot that it ever even happened. They don’t even remember that it happened but it’s still in their body.
Other people remember that trauma happened but they don’t see it as traumatic. In other words, they think that they dealt with it because they don’t feel any emotional charge, when in fact, there is an emotional charge but it’s buried so deep in 5-inch thick steel, safe down in their organ systems somewhere that they don’t feel it. They think that they dealt with it.
If you are not sure if that could be one of the things, talk to somebody like us. We address all the biological stuff. We look at your genetics, labs, and blood, everything. We also address that because we know how to get in there, uncover and unpack to see if that could be something, even if you are not consciously aware of it.
Doing a self-assessment, sometimes you can and sometimes you can’t. This is a good one. If you have tried everything else, if you have been to the awesome holistic, functional or naturopathic doctors, you did all the labs and have done all the things, you have been diligent about it. Get rid of all the toxins, your labs show that your gut is healthy and you are not having any immune responses to your foods, everything is looking good, your nutritional status is good and you are still feeling off, that could be a trauma or an unprocessed emotion that you are not consciously aware of. That could be another way to assess yourself as well. That could be something you haven’t looked at.
As far as talking to your doctor or practitioner about it, talk to them and if they give you this deer in the headlights look because they don’t know and they are like, “Let me prescribe for you to go see a psychologist or a psychiatrist,” that’s probably your clue that they don’t understand this type of work. Many experts are good at this type of work.
You have people more in the old model of psychology who don’t get that. It’s going to be important to find somebody who understands informed trauma work, how to do sematic release work, how to release emotions and traumas without taking you back into your story because that’s going to traumatize you and your body. The old methodologies of talk therapy, where you would sit on the couch and talk your story. Any of you who are reading this probably can relate to this when I tell you that you felt worse afterward than you felt before you went in and felt sick in your body for days afterward.
Right now, we’re seeing a merging of science and spirituality, or rather these two different models of science coming together to be used to help people heal.
I went through that too when I was a kid. My parents were divorced. I would have to go see a talk therapist and I would talk to them about how upset I was about my parents fighting. I would feel worse for days afterward instead of feeling better. At some point, I remember my mother taking me in and I was screaming saying, “I never want to go there because it made me feel worse.”
What happens is that when you relive your story, you are talking about it and you start feeling the emotions, crying because you are feeling it again, do you realize that your body and mind don’t realize that it’s not happening again? Your brain is different from your mind. Your brain realizes it was in the past but your body and unconscious mind think that you are right back there again because you are reliving it.
It’s very toxic and it doesn’t fix things. It can make it worse and create those neurological pathways that are keeping you in that state of hell. It makes those neurological pathways bigger and stronger because you keep reinforcing them by talking about your story all the time. We want to break those neurological pathways and create new neurological pathways with new perceptions and stories so that you can put on a new set of lenses, and see yourself and the world around you in a very different way you have never seen before.
If you go and talk to your doctor and you are not getting the response that you are looking for, go back and ask Dr. Wolfson. Say, “Dr. Wolfson, who do you know who can help me with this stuff?” Start looking for people who are trauma-informed, who can help you in a way that’s going to work for you instead of making you worse.
Thank you for all that. I talk about this in my book in Chapter 5, this One Nation Under Prozac. We give people some solutions but one of those things I comment on and I hate to be cynical about it but it’s a reality is that you will typically wind up at your conventional medical doctor with a prescription, which is not going to work or you get a referral to a psychiatrist who’s going to give you a prescription and that’s not going to work.
I usually tell people to see a psychologist, social workers, and stuff like that if they are practicing old-school methodologies, even on talk therapy as a psychologist. For some people, this is subconscious and not at the forefront of their thoughts but, especially for people who do keep replaying these childhood traumas or even adult traumas, what good would it possibly do to talk through it again? It can’t. That’s fantastic information. I could talk to you forever about all this stuff.
For all the readers out there, whatever your health issue is, if it’s high blood pressure, you have had a heart attack, a stroke, atrial fibrillation, congestive heart failure, palpitations, whatever is going on with you from a cardiac standpoint, non-cardiac standpoint, we want you to understand that all these things that Dr. Villanueva and I are talking about are very pertinent to you. If you are still leading at this point, this conversation is resonating with you or with someone that you love. Make sure you get this addressed. Dr. V, tell me some good resources where people could go and also how they can connect with you and your team to get some of these solutions.
Check out our website for starters. That will be great. It’s ModernHolisticHealth.com. You will see me there. You will see that we are from Austin, Texas. We are a virtual practice and we see people globally. We are based out of Austin but we don’t have a brick-and-mortar office. The good news is that no matter where you are if you want help, you can reach out to us.
We have a Mental Health Masterclass that launches a couple of times a year. The next launch is going to be in December 2021, right around the holidays. We feel like a lot of people are needing it. We want people to not feel hopeless like they are broken and there’s something wrong with them. We go into the science behind the most common underlying causes of mental health disorders and neurodegenerative disease. We go through case studies showing you our clients and how we have taken them through the process of completely reversing their issues and getting them off their medications and all of that. It’s fascinating.

We also launched in 2021 a much-needed 5-Part Series Mastering Trauma Masterclass. We have the same type of format. We go through all of the science for five days teaching you what trauma is. How does it affect the body? We go through all the science behind it, showing you all the studies. We talk about the ACEs score and how traumas can cause heart disease. We go into all the science behind that, and then we show case studies. I even have a client who made us the most beautiful testimonial. Her doctor told her that she was at an 85% risk for heart attack and heart disease.
She’s down to 5%. She has been working with us for not even a full year. Our programs are a year long. It was a beautiful testimony. Her blood pressure that she has never been able to get under control is back in the normal range. What did we do? We did all the things, including the emotional and trauma work with her because anger and anxiety caused massive disruption to the cardiovascular system.
We’ve got it. We have to work on that and figure out what the root cause of that is. ModernHolisticHealth.com, check us out there. You can sign up for our newsletter if you want. We send out about one email a day telling you about people like Dr. Jack Wolfson, maybe own a beautiful olive oil company who is Fresh-Pressed Olive Oil or any type of things like that.
We also invite you to watch masterclasses and summits that people like Dr. Wolfson, myself and others put on so that you can have educational resources so that you can take your sovereignty back, learn how to take care of yourself, and learn how to be responsible for your health because it’s not rocket science. Where the future of medicine is going is no longer going to be the doctors up here, the patient down here and you know nothing about your body.
You are relying on, “The doctor is going to tell me how I can heal.” No. We are teaching you how to heal yourself. We are teaching you your operations manual so that you can take care of yourself as well as you can take care of your car. It’s time for the medical model to change and people like Dr. Wolfson and I are leading that change. Check us out and we will hope to see you if you are looking for help.
You are such a valuable resource and all this stuff is so important. For everyone reading, when you have reached the end of the rope and maybe you have done everything for your health condition and you are still suffering, you have changed your diet or lifestyle. You have done detoxification for mold or environmental toxins and you are physically active, you are doing everything but you are still not where you need to be, certainly, you’ve got to take a much deeper inventory into these issues that Dr. V and I have been discussing.
You are certainly welcome to focus on those at the beginning of your health journey as well. They need to be paid attention. Dr. Elena Villanueva, all your masterclasses, information, and emails, I find them so informative. I’m appreciative to be on your list and subscribed to be getting all of that as well. Dr. Elena, thank you so much for your time. This has been another fantastic episode. We welcome you to enjoy your 100-year heart, the best in health and wellness to you always and forever. Be well. Thank you.
